Uscape Gives Back

By: Alex Nowlin: Founder & CEO

I wanted to take this time to introduce a new program called Uscape Gives Back- an initiative to support the local communities in which our colleges are located.

Since starting Uscape in 2013, we have been looking for a way to give back. As college students ourselves, we know that repping your school comes in many different forms. Whether it means supporting your sports teams, getting involved in various campus organizations, or supporting your local community, Uscape knows our tagline- Rep Your Skyline- goes far beyond wearing a T Shirt.

Emily (Director of Marketing and Design) and I grew up in a household where giving back was apart of our family. Our mother, Jackie, has always had a special place in her heart for helping the homeless, and throughout our childhood Emily and I watched her go out of her way to help those in need. This really left an impact on both of us and when we kicked around ideas for how to give back as a company, we wanted it to tie to the same principle of helping others in need. With the cold winter the Northeast is experiencing again this year, we decided to give back in the form of a warm sweatshirt.

This past January we made our first donation of 200 sweatshirts to a local community action center near Bucknell University in Pennsylvania. The Union - Snyder Community Action Agency works in partnership with consumers, agencies, and communities to address and alleviate the causes and impacts of poverty. The sweatshirts will be distributed to homeless as well as low-income individuals near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

We are currently looking for the next organization to donate to at the end of this quarter and we encourage you to offer suggestions to the Uscape team. It is important to us that we faithfully represent each one of our schools and that we help to make a difference as a company in our school communities. If you are a student at a current school and want to donate sweatshirts near your university, please email Emily at
